About Chip

Lives & works in Dallas, TX

Design should be holistic.

In a sentence, this encapsulates Chip's design philosophy. A building should be well-lit, sustainable, functional, economical, and beautiful. From the way the drawings are set up on a sheet to the way care is taken in linework to the way a report is laid out to building wayfinding and branding, Chip believes that every aspect of a project should be both thoughtfully and artfully designed.

A graduate of Texas A&M University, Chip has experience in multiple different market sectors, including Healthcare, Federal, Higher Education, Mission Critical, Aviation, Retail, and Civic/Municipal. He has worked on projects of various scales in pursuit phases, pre-design, feasibility studies, master planning, construction document production, as well as construction administration. A very proficient graphic designer, Chip also has experience in 3D modeling and various digital fabrication processes.

Chip is an active member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) on both the state and local level, serving on numerous committees and as Associate Director on the Texas Society of Architects Board of Directors (2020-2021). Chip is a LEED Accredited Professional and holds a license to practice architecture in the state of Texas.
